4:30 Barrowburn  A Raleigh-based band presenting traditional Celtic music on acoustic instruments, Barrowburn prides itself in its versatility. The band is equally at home ripping through a set of jigs or reels as they are rendering the simple beauty of a slow air or lament. Barrowburn performs both legacy and contemporary ballads from the tradition as well as comical pub songs that are best accompanied by a swinging pint of Guinness. In concert, they demonstrate their love for Celtic music, but do so from an American perspective.
| 6:30 Michele Darrah  Michele Darrah performs French chansons from the 40s, 50s, 60s, 70s, and well known Piaf songs, Charles Trenet, Barbara, Brassens, Moustaki, Beart, Francoise Hardy, songs about Paris, and some very old popular traditional songs. Michele will also sing in Russian: traditional songs and poetic songs from singers such as Boulat Otkoudjava, Veronika Dolina.

| 7:30 Don Viney  A child of the sixties and seventies, Don Viney learned to love the sound of human voices accompanied by acoustic guitars from an international array of folk musicians—Ian and Sylvia, Judith Durham and the Seekers, The Dubliners, Bob Dylan, Peter, Paul, and Mary, George Moustaki, and many others. Folk music at its best is telling a story through melody. The stories of particular individuals, places, and events, have universal appeal; they are made more memorable by the emotions expressed in the line, harmony, and counterpoint of the music. Don Viney continues this rich tradition of song and narrative through covers of favorites as well as original compositions drawn from the stories of his own family and history.
| 8:30 Different Drum  Led by award-winning composer and multi-instrumentalist Alex Weiss, Different Drum bridges the sounds of Africa & the Americas. Playful Calypsos, beautiful Brazilian Sambas and Funky South African Township music are some of the fabric that holds this band together.
